Way Down Town

The school is located way down, where it's a 30 minute drive from where I live. Going during the day is alright, but coming home at night is a nightmare! They have a lot of security risks on the campus with a lot of notifications going out. It seems like it's in a good neighborhood, but the crime rate is right up there because the students live on campus.

The Orlando Area

Orlando is full of culture, attractions, and nightlife! I love the atmosphere of this city and there is always something fun to do. Whether you explore the amusement parks or downtown Orlando, there is plenty of adventure to be had. I definitely recommend this town to anyone looking for a perfect blend of city and suburban life. There are also a lot of great schools in the area!

Lots to Do!

The area of Orlando in which UCF is located is home to thousands and thousands of college students. As a result there are a great variety of restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. You could basically find anything you could possibly want or need in the UCF area.

Reflection Pond During Homecoming Week, on the Friday before Homecoming, there is an event called "Spirit Splash." During this, the whole school (well, most of it) runs in the fountain at the same time, in celebration of the Homecoming game.
