If you are considering doing something illegal on campus, don’t do it; you’ll most likely be caught. UCF has its own police station located on campus, and many officers can be found patrolling the campus. Always drive with caution and obey the speed limits; there’s often an officer with a radar gun waiting in the wings. I guess if this is the worst thing that UCF students have to worry about, then it can’t be all that bad; Right? Absolutely. Don’t hesitate to call for a Safe Ride if you’re on campus after dusk. This is an excellent service that UCF provides so that you’ll arrive safely at your destination, whether it be the parking garage or your dorm room. Students Speak Out

We have campus police, but I don't necessarily feel safe around campus when it gets dark, particularly in some of the parking lots and garages.

Safety and Security is a little more than average. The Rosen College is gated and has security walking around campus. Main campus has the blue alarm buttons around campus and its own police station with officers always on patrol.

I feel like UCF itself is really a safe campus. Other than bike thefts, I never hear of any issues. All of the crime happens off campus, which is definitely something to think about.
