overall financial aid gave me enough money to pay for school and all other costs as well as money left over. Contacting them and making changes in general is usually slow but it will get done.

It's a long process, but the online aspect of it all is pretty standard and simple. To try and get an appointment with our financial aid department at my school does take a while, but they're all very kind and helpful once you are able to reach them. Although I don't agree how the financial aid is distributed. My family lives from paycheck to paycheck and pretty much relies on my financial aid to to pay for my tuition, but the only financial aid I could receive were unsubsidized student loans. On paper, it looks like my family makes a lot, but in reality they can barely afford to give me rent money each month.

Financial aid can be a pain anywhere and you just have to be patient and keep your eyes open.

I applied for financial aid and UCF took care of the rest. I didn't have to do anything but apply

I got one scholarship from the school in addition to Bright Futures. Could be better.
