College Prowler Take

It sounds like sunny skies in Orlando. If you think less is better, then strip off your clothes and come to Orlando where temperatures can reach sweltering degrees during the summer months. Not to worry, though, because rain storms make their (almost) daily appearance during the summer and cool off the steamy afternoons. Be prepared to bundle up for a few cold nights in the winter.

Most of the year, the weather is warm and humid. Everywhere indoors in Orlando is air conditioned, making the heat more tolerable—and the perfect excuse to go shopping at one of the many malls for a cute bathing suit. Also, be prepared for hurricane season (August–November). You never know, so it’s best to be prepared to skip town immediately.

It's Florida, so it is hot. But it can get cooler, too, so bring clothes to layer, plus plenty of summer clothes. Jeans are a must.

You'll wear flip flops and shorts almost all year. Always bring an umbrella, too. There are downpours on Florida summer afternoons quite often, and since the campus is so spread out, it's quite a walk from the classroom to the car or shuttle in the rain.
