Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

What usually comes to mind when you think of college life? Greek life! UCO is home to a number of sororities and fraternities, with Greek houses scattered around the outskirts of the campus. Students join these organizations for several reasons, including being a part of a national organization, meeting new friends, experiencing Greek life, getting scholarships, gaining leadership experience, becoming an active participant in the local community, and exploring advancement opportunities for their careers.

Greek life is an active element on the UCO campus, and this is evident since there is an annual campus-wide celebration called Stampede Week that invities the entire UCO community to get involved in campus-sponsored activities, such as entertainment shows and family events. With year-round events dedicated to Greek life and so many Greek members, going Greek is a great idea at UCO.
