There does seem to be a lot of alcohol, but nothing above any other average campus.
College Junior 2013-12-12T02:13:11Z
There is a lot of diversity on campus and everyone seems very accepting.

Theres some school spirit, but its not as big as other schools. The teams are okay, but nothing special.
College Junior 2013-12-12T02:07:52Z
The weather is extremely hot or extremely cold. In the winter everything is covered in snow and ice.

There are a lot of bars around campus and parties that occur in the frat houses. Transportation isn't that great. I don't live near campus so I would have to have a DD or get a taxi, which is expensive. Theres no where to park either.

I haven't had an internship yet, but it is required in my second year of the program. I don't have any concerns. I have already set up one interview, and my instructors are very helpful in helping us find something.

Guys & Girls:
The guys and girls at my school are average. I haven't noticed anything special or different than other campuses.

I do not live on campus so I cannot comment on the housing.

The local atmosphere is fun and busy. There is always something to do. There is a professional baseball and football team in the city. There are multiple amusement parks/water parks near by. There are plenty of shopping areas and a lot of cultural events that go on down by the river and downtown. Safety isn't too great. There is a lot of crime near campus, but normally late at night.

If you need assistance, they recognize those in great need- if not, you may have a harder time
College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:47:24Z
Our libraries are stocked with computers and techs
College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:46:27Z
They are not too strict, I've been in situations where I definitely should have gotten in trouble

Student life is phenominal, I would suggest to go greek but even if not you'll have a great experience
College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:45:32Z
All the colleges are so nice and distinct. Our Rec center is beyond compare

College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:42:05Z
Basketball is where it's at, but our football team is decent and we have a couple big games that are really fun to be a part of.
College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:39:59Z
There are always parking garages with room, and there are plenty surrounding campus. However to get a permit to park in the closest to campus everyday is 900 per semester. There are a ton of meters and road parking available- but be cautious because if there is any big sporting event then good luck finding one
College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:37:56Z
I regret not joining a sorority- SO MUCH. I am a 2nd year & would totally go greek if I wasn't already so late to the game.
College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:36:38Z
The snow can be troublesome in event there is a level 3 snow emergency (which only happened one time last winter). Other than that, it's ohio so all 4 seasons & the weather that comes along should be expected.
College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:35:38Z
Campus transportation is AMAZING. So many different routes that are free to students and run everyday throughout the week with exceptions to holidays and weekends. I wish more weekend transportation was available, but that's just me being greedy. They offer excellent transportation services
College Sophomore 2013-12-11T23:33:54Z
This is the most ideal college town possible. The only downside is that the surrounding areas (clifton, over-the-rhine) have certain streets that are not as safe as I'd like them to be, but I've never personally had an issue with this.

I am a member of the Greek life here, and I have many friends who are not involved in it as well. I personally love it, and I recommend that you try it out if you have even a minor interest in it, but it is not a gigantic presence on campus. There is plenty of independent organizations and other parties that are non-Greek affiliated as well. In general, if you want to go Greek, you certainly can, but it won't hurt if you don't either.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
