Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

There will be many times throughout the college experience when a student will question his decision and dwell on other possibilities. The University of Colorado-Boulder is a significantly large school where an incoming freshman will undoubtedly feel lost on the long and lonely walk to class. You will find yourself contemplating the benefits that a smaller school could have offered and wonder whether you made the right choice. But it isn’t hard to lose that in the amazing beauty of the campus and the kind, openness of the students, which makes it easy to find your place. As the years progress, you will notice more the value in choosing Boulder with the pure intention of skiing as many days as possible. Throughout your time spent at CU, you will ask if you have surrounded yourself with the right people. Later, when you are confronted with choosing a profession, serious criticism may be cast onto your once prized major.

Such questions will plague several students attending a number of universities, yet not all of them will find solace in knowing they spent four years studying in one of the most stimulating cities in the country. It is almost impossible to narrow the experience down to one deciding factor. There is not just one simple thing that separates CU from the countless number of universities that a student has to choose from. Yet, it could have something to do with the mountains. Being greeted every morning by Colorado’s towering terrain never fails to put an inflated ego into place. Looking down from the highest peak in Vail is more than a subtle reminder of the benefits of dedication. Even fresh Aspen air is capable of lifting the lowest spirits. You are given one life and one college experience. The knowledge you can gain at CU is immeasurable, but not everything in life can be based on an academic curriculum.

It's the Best

Boulder is my dream school - it's everything I wanted college to be. The academics are great, the town is awesome, and the social scene is a total blast. Combine the quintessential college experience with tons of outdoor activities, great people, and an unconventional hippy influence, and you get CU. I never want to graduate.

Phenomenal

I love this place, Boulder Colorado is the place to be if you are a college student. The Greek life is not the most dominant thing, but it's still there. The people are friendly and when it all comes down to it, most people, are here to learn and have fun at the same time.

Time of My Life

The University of Colorado not only has all the classes I could possibly want to attend in any given semester, it has the atmosphere on game days, the beautiful views every morning, and the golden weather forecast the Colorado is very well know for. I cannot see myself anywhere else but here. I would honestly recommend this University to all of my friends and family members! I have had the time of my life thus far and will continue to until I graduate!
