Expensive

CU does not offer many oppurtunities for financial help what so ever, in fact, its quite the opposite where they charge for everything they can possibly think of.

The Education Catch 22

I have to say that I have not had the easiest experience with Financial Aid. Perhaps this is because I haven't come across the right opportunities yet, but also because of my battle with the University to be recognized as a Colorado Resident. The reason I am having such a battle is because I attended school for 6 months before I took a year off to work and gain residency. Therefore the school neglects to recognize my legitimacy, even though I have been completely independent for the last 3 years. I really just wish that education wasn't being marked to the price it is. My University is a great school indeed, but I find it disturbing what debt I am expected to take on before I even begin a career.
