Boulder's public transportation is exceedingly convenient. A small fee is assessed into each semester's tuition, which allows students to travel on a variety of local buses that tour throughout the city. The pass is given in the form of a sticker, which is placed on every student's identification card. By showing this sticker along with their ID card, students can travel to Denver and surrounding areas. Many students take advantage of this pass when traveling to and from the Denver International Airport.

There are few places in the country where a car is viewed as unnecessary. In Boulder there is no need to travel when excellent restaurants, lively entertainment, and even laundromats are within walking distance. And for the places you can't walk to, there is substantial public transportation that can take you wherever you want to go, practically anytime you want.
