Yeah There's Alot Here

Even though I don't participate in drug use, it is all around me. I've never been peer pressured or forced to use any drug. Those who do use it, are for the most part respectful of others and don't try to convince them to use it if they don't want to. I have been able to meet pleanty of people who don't use drugs and no one ever bothers us about it. But then again, many times people come up to me and say, "but you're from Boulder, how do you not smoke?" I don't think it's a surprise that people from here don't do drugs but I know my school has a reputation for it, so I can see why others would assume that.

Not Much Diversity

The only black people are football players. The school says there are people from all 50 states and all over the world, but i rarely meet anyone foreign and mostly people are from colorado or california.

Above Everybody Else

I rushed last year and choose not to join a sorority because some on campus put off the attitude that they are better than everyone else there. A lot of them seem fake and the only time they are involved with non-greeks is when they are forced to raise money for their philanthropy. The sororities are there because their parents have money and the fraternities are there only to provide awesome parties (since they are not affiliated with the school). I would have failed them, but I know a few sororities (only a couple out of all of them) that are actually there to get the sisterhood. On the plus side, the housing for sororities are really nice.
