I am not sure about the policies that affect those who live on campus since I have never lived in the dorms or apartments. The strictness of the administration is about average. If you do something wrong depending on what it is you might get a second chance to correct it without repercussions. All the faculty have been very friendly and easy to get along with.

UCCS is pretty straightforward with how they enforce their rules and regulations. Anything from drugs to alcohol is clearly covered and explained.

They are fairly strict on certain areas that need to be, such as; drugs, drinking, and partying. While, they give you freedom also, which is good. For example, having visitors if your roommate is okay with it then they are too.

They are pretty strict about things like drugs and alcohol. Parking is also generally well enforced if you don't have a permit.

I don't mind the strictness that the campus has set for the school. We are a dry campus so the campus police are only doing their job and that should be respected. Yes we are in college and "everyone" drinks etc, that doesn't mean it needs to be advertised. As long as you are being smart and responsible about what you are doing, the police will work with you. I've been to some parties were the cops have come to break it up, be respectful about it and listen and you won't get in trouble. You can always go chill somewhere else and continue your night. Being a part of Greek life doesn't mean we're all drinking and partying all the time and showing up to things drunk. All events held on campus by Greeks are sober events, there is no alcohol involved/served/provided by Greek organizations, since that goes against all the individual Greek organizations rules, and would lead to the organization being kicked off campus etc. Just remember you don't need alcohol to have fun, all you need is your good group of friends to have the time of your life, and the less likely it will be for you to get in trouble with the school and campus police.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
