there is plenty to do both close and far from campus, whether it is going to a concert in the springs or taking a drive up to denver to watch the broncos or the rockies there is no reason to be board

The atmosphere of my city is pretty good. Colorado Springs is a nice quiet place to live. There is quite a bit of scenery due to the city being next to the Rocky Mountains and Pikes Peak. We also have some forests and our famous nature attraction Garden of the Gods.

Colorado Springs provides the best of both worlds: plenty to do for outdoor enthusiasts as well as a cultural arts scene in the downtown district.

The local atmosphere is wonderful! There are plenty of shopping centers right near the school, though they are a bit crowded. Also, we are only 15 minutes or so from Downtown Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, which are local tourist attractions. There's a great nightlife and an abundance of coffee shops in Colorado Springs, which are my favorite. Always something to do, whether hiking up a mountain or enjoying the city.

There are too many area attractions to list hear. One can get a list on campus. There are numerous activities on and off-campus, from frats and sororities, all types of sports, numerous shopping malls and the local attitude is wonderful. There is never a time one can say there is nothing to do.
