College Prowler Take
Prospective students visiting the University of Colorado are often lured by the University’s grandeur. The main campus alone maintains over 700 acres of towering trees and captivating landscape. Aside from the naturally inspiring campus grounds, the facilities at CU are especially inviting due to a number of renovations that have recently occurred. For the past few years, the University Memorial Center has undergone detailed construction, allowing for the expansion of the bookstore, as well as ample tables for studying, a renovated bank, a bowling alley, and added restaurants. To put it best, the University of Colorado’s campus is everything that one would expect from a major university. Most students will proudly admit that a simple walk around the campus was all it took for them to choose CU. They feel no shame in having based their decision on the aesthetics of the University, knowing that they would spend adequate time walking on its grounds and seeking intellectual stimulation within its beautiful walls. With the Rocky Mountains as its backdrop, it’s hard for students to picture themselves anywhere else. If you decide to take advantage of the Rec, make sure that you either go early in the morning, late at night, or in between classes to avoid peak hours. Also, make sure not to forget your Buff One (student ID card), because if you can’t show ID, attendants are not obligated to let you in.
