Incomprehendibly Functionable

My university is known especially for its basketball team: the UConn Huskies. The students come in droves to the games, where they display tons of great enthusiasm for their fellow colleagues. However, there is seldom an announcement about the games or posters celebrating our athletics yet everybody is able to come together on game day.

Pleasantly surprised

I came from a really competitive high school that is consistently ranked as one of the top in the state, so I felt very prepared for college. With that said, UConn definitely is harder/more work than it is given credit for. Science majors as difficult but professors are good.

Uconn's Social Life

I was surprised at the diversity of students at Uconn, theres a pretty big chunk of preppy, jock guys and girls, dressed up or dressed down. But there also a bunch of earthy, artsy, indie types, lots of Asians, and even a few truly unique individuals on unicycles... Most people are pretty active and in-shape, so be prepared to be bombarded with hot beach bodies. Its a big enough place for eveyone to find their niche. Potential girl or boyfriends are plentiful, as are opportunities to get wasted.
