What can I do to get into the accelerated med program? I am a rising senior. I have an unweighted GPA of 3.9 and am in the IB Diploma Program. I have taken 5 AP tests so far and have received a 4/5 on all and 1 IB test (got a 5). I have many service/volunteer hours - hospital, museum.....I am currently volunteering in a research lab with over 20 hours so far. My ec activities include vice president of Operation Smile (an international organization), member of Key Club, math team, HOSA (Health occupations for Students of America), NHS member. I have gotten many mathematics awards and I got the Head, Heart & Hands award in my freshman year for "exemplary acts of service". My SAT is 1920 and ACT is 27- will be retaking in September. SATII in MathII is 730. Will be taking many AP/IB courses this coming school year and will be doing an internship in a Hospital 2nd semester. Also I'm in the top 5 % of my class. I need to know what else I can do to increase my chances besides raising my ACT score. Please help! I'm kinda freaking out.
