Hurricane Weather

The campus suffers from extreme winds on a daily basis. When winds are accompanied by the usual rain, long walking distances, and the timing conflicts of shuttles, it is somewhat miserable.

Nothing to Do

UConn is Storrs. Of course there are clubs, sports, and Student Union events and the like, but you're stuck in Storrs (unless you have a car) watching sporting events, going to club meetings, and university events with the same old people day after day.

Spring Weekend Gets Out of Hand

UConn has quite the weekend party scene from dorm rooms to nearby off campus apartments. Spring weekend is their biggest party weekend and unfortunately many outsiders come to the campus and destroy property and even cause harm to others. Although all of this can easily be avoided if need be.
