Advice on Finding a Job/Internship Finding an internship is easy in some majors and very difficult in others. Majors such as business and engineering have many resources available to help them find a job. Recruiters come to campus and there are numerous advertisements for these candidates. If you are in a less popular major, or lets face it, the humanities, it’s much harder to find a job that will lead you into a career. For the majors it focuses on, the UD does a good job, but for others it slacks off. Start looking in January if you want to find a good internship and don’t be afraid to go to every event the UD offers. Many companies come to campus to do interviews and give presentations. This is your best bet for finding a career-related job. Also, take advantage of the career center by going to their workshops on resumé and cover-letter writing and interviewing.
