The support of athletics is highly supported by all students, staff, and visitors.

This especially applies to our hockey team, which has a very strong following. Tickets are only $5 to hockey games and free to every other sport. Lacrosse is extremely popular in the spring because people can tailgate outside and take advantage of the beautiful Denver weather!

Sports teams are good, but the only sport that people really pay any attention to is hockey.

Hockey is really the only frequently attended sports. The sports teams are good, but school spirit is lacking in sports other than hockey.

DU's athletic department is top ranked among D I non football schools. Hockey and Lacrosse are huge here, and a lot of fun to watch
