DU requires all incoming freshmen to purchase laptops. University Technology Services (UTS) offers free computer program training sessions on a quarterly basis. Both part- and full-time students (with a DU ID number) may attend the classes, which cover a variety of topics including Web development, Microsoft Office, and webCentral (DU's primary e-mail server). Some of the classes also are offered online.
