DU has its fair share of beautiful people. Most students are in shape, as Denver does attract a more outdoor-loving and athletic student body. At DU, the ratio of men to women seems somewhat balanced compared to many other schools that are close to 70 percent female. Most students meet each other freshman year in the dorms and make fast friends throughout Discoveries Week (freshman orientation).
Many of the guys are your typical ripped, muscular studs, while many of the girls are blonde, tanned, and overly girly. A number of students try entirely too hard to get noticed by the opposite sex, and sometimes it’s painfully obvious. Be careful of being swayed by good looks. Some of the best-looking guys on campus act much too superior for their own good, and some of the best-looking girls can be seasoned ice queens. Several students bought their looks with money, and it can be difficult if not frustrating to search for a meaningful and fulfilling relationship.

Not Diverse Enough, but Liberal Minded
Too many white, wealthy people (and I am white) - not enough class, race, etc. differences to accurately represent Denver.

In General
Very attractive boys. Good looking and know how to carry themselves. Plenty of parties but if you're not into that thing then there are plenty of other people to hang out with/things to do. Some people are a little snooty but overall everyone is really nice!

Lots of Hipster Guys
At DU, one can find a large amount of Hipster guys and athletes. There's also a lot of partiers on campus, and girls tend to either dress well (think Express) or comfortably -- there's not a lot of pressure to conform.

Birds of a feather flock together, especially at DU. The social scene on campus is a bit reminiscent of high school, with selective cliques and popularity contests. Most students find their niche and settle into their own circles of friendship fairly quickly. Others, however, prefer to keep to themselves, and would rather remain independent from DU's social drama.
Although you might see a few hand-holding couples here and there on campus, relationships aren't incredibly common, especially between two DU students. Many students are in relationships with people from other schools, especially long distance. Even so, the campus often pulses with Monday morning rumors of all the random (and most likely drunken) hookups that took place over a weekend full of partying. Hookups seem to increase when springtime hits, as both girls and guys either hit the tanning beds or lay out for hours in the golden sunshine to increase their hotness factor. Students seem to slack a little more in schoolwork during the spring, opting rather to go out, party, and meet hotties instead of hit the books.
At DU both guys and girls hit on each other pretty equally. Overall, DU has an attractive student body and when it comes to meeting or hanging out with the opposite sex classes, the local bars, fraternity parties, DU sponsored clubs and organizations and Greek Life events make it easy to do so.
J.Crew, anyone? Take a quick glance around DU’s campus, and you’ll see the portrait of preppy. But beneath the surface, anything goes. DU has skaters, a few Goths, and people who generally could care less how they look—which can be refreshing. Some girls look like they spent hours and a considerable amount of cash getting ready simply to go to class. Some guys look like they took their sweet time primping their gelled, bleached blonde hair into perfect little spikes before overdoing their heady cologne. Others roll out of bed, and if we’re lucky, brush their teeth before shuffling to their 9 a.m. in their PJs. Many students dress for comfort and according to the weather, which changes frequently. You’d be better off well-prepared and a little less attractive than looking smoking hot and being freezing cold.
