To begin, the only reason that campus dining is not getting an A is because students have to buy a meal plan unless they are a senior, live off campus, or live in "the villages" which consist of on campus apartments, houses, and town homes. Other than the lack of freedom to choose whether or not to have a meal plan campus dining is great, especially because there is only one cafeteria in the Ridgway Center. "Ridge" is a great place to meet with friends for lunch or dinner, or to catch up with a professor over a cup of coffee.

At the University of Evansville we only have one dining hall. It is a really small food court, but it has a somewhat varied selection of food. A few of the places serve the exact same meals daily, which can be a good thing, or a bad thing depending on how well you like the food. I personally think the dining hours are a bit too short. Sometimes class can run late, and then you missed your chance at getting food at the dining hall. And at nights, it closes AT 7. Not a minute later. I think that is a bit early (for college students anyways). Also, if you have meal points left over at the end of the semester, they simply go to waste. They will not let them roll over to the next semester, even if it is the same academic year. This is a major waste of money and completely inconvenient. I don't really recommend getting the meal plan if you don't have to.

The food is bearable at best. I hardly ever eat meat when I am at school, and I am not a vegetarian. The food is either undercooked or overcooked about 20 percent of the time. The school makes bank on the meal plans; the cost of the meals is so overpriced for what you receive. UE would do well to decrease the amount of processed food served and serve more fresh fruits and vegetables.

We only have one dining option on campus and the value of the food is nothing to rave about. There is a decent variety within the food court but it gets old. We don't have any restaurants which is disappointing but the meal plan options work for people! Flex dollars are good for coffee and breakfast at Jazzman's as well as Ace's Place for snacks!

Cafe court has lots of choices which is nice but gets repetitive. Also can get food in the convenient store or jazzmans cafe. Can use flex to order papa johns!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
