The permit can be a bit pricey, but you can what you pay for. You will have a spot, but sometimes it does take a bit of time to locate one. If you park on campus without a permit, you're looking at a ticket that costs $100-$200 depending on where you parked and at what time. Overall though, the campus is small, and everything is pretty close together that you don't really need a car. However, it is nice to have one on rainy days when you need to run errands around town or something.

There is definitely an insufficient amount of parking spaces in the heart of the campus. However, the campus is small enough for this to only be an issue during the winter months. Luckily for any high schoolers looking at UE, the administration is planning on completely revamping the campus-which is supposed to add hundreds of parking spaces closer to the classrooms.

There are limited amounts of parking spots in the different lots, and most of the time the lots are full. Parking passes are average, but spots fill up fast. Expect to have to park in lots up to a block away if plans including getting back on campus after 8 pm.

I don't have a car on campus; I don't find it necessary. My friends complain about the permit price occasionally, but they never seem to have a problem finding a parking space - just one that they prefer.

Not a lot of spaces and security gets crazy with parking tickets.
