If I could do it all over I would choose my school again. It is the best! The academics and the athletics are great! I love the sens of pride we have at our school, knowing the we have the best of everything! Everyone is so friendly! One of the most amazing feelings in the world is cheering in the student section at a home football game on Saturday. The atmosphere is just so wonderful. Everyone comes together in their red and black and we are like a big family. The students are so ambitious and hardworking, yet they also really know how to have fun. This is THE BEST University in the world and I'm so glad to be apart of the Bulldawg Nation!!

The off-campus housing is great! There is great parking and buses that come and take you on campus so if you don't want to drive you don't have to. The safety is not that great though, but as long as you're in a group you should be okay. I think it is pretty convenient because it is not that far from campus. Often, it's cheaper to live off campus because the dorms are really expensive.
College Sophomore 2013-12-05T21:55:53Z
The dorms and meal plans are so expensive that most people need loans to pay for it. Even if you get the HOPE scholarship or Zell Miller that only pays tuition. There are so many other costs. I have not had much dealings with financial aid because my parents do not want me to take out a lot of loans like my brother did. I really need scholarships so that I will not have to worry about paying them back.

Parking is not that great. You have to park somewhere that's kind of far unless you want to pay a lot for the really close parking. If you park anywhere on campus you have to have a permit during the day time. It's really hard because the campus is big and if you depend on the buses you will be late sometimes and it's hard to walk from one side of campus to the other in between classes.

I haven't really gotten into any major classes yet. However, I have talked with some of the professors within my major, and they are very nice. I think that the professors in this major really care about making this an enjoyable experience for their students.

There are a variety of majors offered at my school. However, a lot of student are into the medicine field or business. I have heard that the science classes are very challenging and they do that to keep out people who don't work hard enough. However, I think that the class load is not too much. There are various resources for students to help them succeed such as tutoring and the Student Academic Center.

I think this University has a very diverse group of students. There are many different races, ethnicity, countries and religions represented at his school. The students are pretty accepting and they don't really care where someone is from. People are very friendly and open about their differences.

The weather in this city is so unpredictable. We can get rain, snow, sunny weather and windy all in one week. When you go out, you never know what to expect. Most students keep umbrellas with them and sunglasses and jackets. However, the weather doesn't stop students from going out and having fun.

Guys & Girls:
I think that there is a lot of the same looks and interests at the university. When you look at a friend group, you will hear how students love being different and all that, but then they all have the same ideas and same conversation. There is not that much diversity within friend groups only diversity is from one group to the next.

This school has the best atmosphere ever for a college town. It's a small city that loves the University. However, it's not small enough where it is boring, just small enough to keep us away from a lot of trouble. There are always concerts and activities in the city that students can attend outside of the University functions.

Health & Safety:
I think the safety and security on campus is pretty good. There is not an excessive amount of it , but I know that if something bad were to happen, the security would keep us in good hands.

The athletics at UGA are great! There is a lot of student involvement and activities to create unity within the student athletes. The coaches, advisors, and trainers all work together to make sure we have everything we need to succeed both academically and athletically. The school spirit is just amazing and the pride we have for our team is great! We all support each sport and come together to really show what the Bulldawg nation is all about!

Busses tend to be late a lot. Milledge bus definitely needs a few more on that route.
Although the classes are kind of tricky, you come out of the class learning so much.

Workload is pretty heavy for most of the classes but it is beneficial at the end of the semester because you have much more knowledge about all the different topics.

I absolutely love UGA. The people are nice, the teachers care about you, and the athletics are great. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

For the most part, many computer and printing labs are easily accessible to the students.

Since campus is so large, it is miserable getting around campus on rainy days. Campus is beautiful to walk around on a nice day.
College Junior 2013-12-03T21:40:09Z
It is not as diverse as some other universities but there is still a good mixture of people on campus.

Health & Safety:
I don't see many cops around campus. I do not feel safe walking around campus alone in the dark.
College Junior 2013-12-03T21:36:56Z
It is a little over the top.
College Sophomore 2013-12-03T19:46:26Z
There are tons of restaurants downtown and on the other side of campus. There's almost always a new place to try out and most of them are delicious. Lots of vegetarian places too. And really good Indian food.
College Sophomore 2013-12-03T19:45:20Z
Parking on campus is a bit expensive, but alot closer than off campus
College Sophomore 2013-12-03T19:44:10Z
Lots of really cheap houses and apartments. Its way cheaper to live off campus than on, and most people do. You just have to know people to get the good ones and not end up on a waiting list.
College Sophomore 2013-12-03T19:42:53Z
The busses are great. There's tons of them all the time, they're heated in the winter and cold in the summer
Sorry, there are no reviews.
