Good to Avoid – The drug scene is average, just depending on what you're involved with. There are the typical drugs , but drinking is more popular around here. Justremember, try not to do anything you wouldnt want to get caught with. No tolerance !

Guys & Girls:
Pretty Different Variations – University of Georgia hasa wide variety of people. You see guys and girls of all different shapes and sizes. And everyone is interested in something different so you'll always find someone to match your personalities with. Students here are also from all over so you'll see your city boys and valley girls with some country accents here and there. You just need to put yourself out there and you'll be fine.

Health & Safety:
I Feel Safe ! It's a very student friendly environment. There is a cell phone service used to notify all students and faculty of warnings and troubles. Police officers are always around the corner to give assistance when needed and have a superb rection time when called. It's a nice campus that I would have no problem exploring at any time.

Football and Ramsey – Football season doesn't get much better than Athens. Ramsey (the workout facility) was recently redone and is absolutely fantastic!

The Food Is Great – I love the number of options and the number of dining halls available, as well as the personal and friendly service of the food management staff.

Life as a College Student – I feel great about coming into the university of georgia majoring in Accounting because of the great business classes they have. There is going to be a workload that I am prepared to face because along with mental growth comes responsibilities. Responsibilities such as time management, doing the work, and going to class.

Historical and Outdoor Aspects Enhance Experience – North Campus at the University of Georgia is perhaps the most beautiful part of campus. This is where all the historical buildings have been preserved and turned into offices. Even if you have to endure the hassle of speaking to Financial Aid, the walk through North Campus makes it worth it. Also the Myers Quad is an excellent place to study, play frisbee, or just relax.

Student Center Is Excellent Place to Study – The Student Learning Center at the University of Georgia is a great place to study, or to run in and print when needed. It gets crowded around finals, but apart from that is an excellent resource for students. Whether you need a study room, some peace and quiet, or just a place to print something; this is the place to go.

Financial aid at Uga is not stressing at all. The financial aid does most of the work done for you. All that is really required of you is to fill out your Fasfa and accept and money offers on the oasis website. If you would want a certain loan you should contact the financial aid office early because it is on a first come first serve basis.

Campus Living – Living in campus is one of the best experience that a student could have. You meet your family and some of your best friends while living on campus. The campus is always alive and full of activities. The people are colorful, fun, and exciting. I enjoy campus live.

The academics at Uga is very well furnished and offers a large amount of academic help. The tutoring and study groups are informative and they are always available to the students. There are also a large amount of free tutoring and study groups available to the students.

Sports Orientated – UGA is so into sports and there's literally every sport you can imagine offered. Tons of athletes, both male and females. We take football very seriously. And of course, athletes get treated like royalty around campus.

Top Notch – Everything's always neat and tidy. Some public bathrooms are a little dim-lit...but that could just be because they're public bathrooms. Cleaning crew works really hard to keep the campus in good shape. Trash cans everywhere and we're leaning towards more environmentally friendly options.

Hard work, but definitely pays off. Professors weed out the students who aren't as determined. Requires good studying habits and a willingness to learn. Literally, you get what you put in to this course.

Not Worth It. On high demand. Extremely costly. Most people find it a waste of money.

You Have to Learn Everything by Yourself Unless Your Friends Know Their Material. The chemistry department is somewhat helpful at University of Georgia. Some of the professors do not seem care about the students that much. Very few are really dedicated to their class, and the review session are somewhat helpful. It is a self-driven class. They use JExam for homework and test. The homework is usually 30 problems or more, and it is pretty difficult. The textbook is helpful when it comes to homework ad slightly help when it comes to learning the material. The labs are pretty easy. Be aware of the strict TAs.

Not Geek If You're Not Greek – At the University of Georgia Greek life is a large part of the community but it is not the only way to be involved in school and the surrounding community. Greek events are open to all students.

The University of Georgia has such great food! There are currently (2010) four dining halls. Each one has salad bars, desert bars, cereal bars, sandwich sections, a grill, and fruit and vegetables. They differ in what they 'specialize' in. For example, Bolton is unique in that it has an entire Vegan section. "O-House" has a 'Country Cookin's' line with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, etc. East Campus Village (ECV) is the athletic dining hall (anyone is welcome to eat in there) and always has the freshest foods! ECV cooks make personal pan pizzas and philly cheese steaks to order. Yummm. The last dining hall, Snelling, is open 24 hours a day and is popular for late night study sessions! A+ all the way!
College Senior 2011-07-25T15:13:32Z
The University of Georgia has an excellent science program. The workload is only slightly harder than average if a student keeps up with studying and deadlines. The material is explained very clearly and the professors are always willing to help. It is unique in that it is known as one of the better science programs of the south, yet it is only as hard as the student themselves make it.

I <3 Buses – UGA's bus system is simply incredible. With the exception of rainy days there are only two, twenty-minute-long periods which the buses are less than prime in any day, lunch and 4:45-5:05 when the majority of classes finish and the "day" ends.
The coverage of the service is incredibly well-done and there are few areas of campus more than two-minutes walk from a stop.

Athens might be lacking in the ultra-fine-dining arena, but make no mistake. The city is delicious and has a slew of restaurants for the palate to enjoy. Downtown offers an atmosphere for dining which is simply incredible and cannot be described as anything but Athenian in nature. Likewise, the other areas of town offer numerous options and delicious possibilities.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
