Great Student Organizations – I've met so many friends by joining some of the clubs at my school, and we always have an excellent time. It motivated me to become an officer in one and try to gain some leadership experience.

Good Bus Service – There is a campus and city-wide bus service. Both run frequently during regular days, and are free to students who pay their transportation fees. Can sometimes run behind schedule, which is frustrating.

Why Isnt There More AID? There should b more scholarships or at least the wealthy athletic program should donate some money to the general school? I did receive HOPE and an incentive scholarship, but there should really be either a lower cost of attendance across the nation

Athletes, Pro or Rec – The facilities are very vast and help the athletes obtain the their national acclaim. Its only sad that regular students cannot access the advanced equipment. However, the Ramsey Student Center more than makes up for it

There are various Listservs, as well as clubs for support for assessing and passing the PCAT. There is always a way to keep in touch with other pharm majors, and similar goals make communication about classes that much easier. The workload is somewhat demanding but since it is apart of the Franklin College, there is so much help toward achieving the goal.

If you're a GA resident and maintain at least a 3.0, your tuition will be covered. If at the 30, 60 or 90 mark your cumulative gpa is below a 3.0 You'll lose hope and have to wait until the next hour check.

I love that it's far enough away from home that I'm forced to be independent, but at the same time it's close enough that if things get really bad home is an hour away. I'm doing really well balancing school and work, and I'm really enjoying my time here at the University of Georgia!

Age Requirement – Athens is a very small town so with the University being there it became a college town. The school is literally across the street from downtown athens which has all the clubs and the bars, but this is pointless if you are not 21 and up. But its not so bad because there are a lot of clubs that host 18 and up parties as well as there being a lot of parties on campus. I mean we are the number one party school in america!

An Awesome Combination of Everything – the university offers its students tons of different subjects to study. the curriculum is not so hard, enough to teach the students what they need to learn. the professors are helpful at times. depending on how many hours the student is taking, the workload could increase. the registration process is smooth.

Our education program allows students to participate in the classroom in their junior year. Students are expected to not just observe but actually participate in the teaching and lessons that go on in the classroom. This has been a great advantage for me personally because it allowed me to ensure that this is the correct career path for me.

Recently there have been restrictions placed on areas to tailgate. Our president has also made a list of things we cannot have on the grounds while tailgating such as big screen televisions, kegs and other things that may cause damage to the property. We were recently voted number one party school which has caused an increase in police patrolling during the evenings in the downtown area.

Overall there is a good night life scence in Athens. They are over 90 bars in the downtown area. Many of the fraternities put on parties on game weekends. The buses are running until 10 pm during the week so students can use the buses to get downtown. They are plenty of cabs for the ride home that are usually about $5 per person depending on how far your destination is.

The computers at UGA include Dell and Apple computers and there is many computer labs scattered across the UGA campus. So, therefore, it is easily accessible and ready to use. It can be crowded sometimes, but you can always find an empty computer to use.

We have a lot of buses that run by throughout the night. The negative part is that they become extremely cramped and crowded. Another negative aspect is that at nighttime, buses run once every thirty minutes, limiting student transportation at night.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
