Geography Major/Out of stater/Admissions

Do out of state students fit in well at your school? I'm from New England and wondering will I get a culture shock from going to a school so far from home. Is it a lot more difficult for an out of state student to be accepted into your school? Is the weather good at your campus (not too hot nor too cold). In New England too hot is over 90 and too cold is below 0. Lastly, how is the campuses diversity overall? Is it well balanced?

To be honest, I never can tell if someone is out of state. People are people, and especially in the south most people are going to treat you with at least some level or courtesy. The only real problem you would have down here is that the weather is hot, and completely unpredictable. However, the good news is that if you don't like Georgia weather, you just wait five minutes and it changes. Honestly, Georgia is so big and has so many different organizations and people that it does not matter where you come from or who you are, you can almost guarantee that you can find a place to fit in.

The majority of my friends and I are out of state.
