Parking at the University of Hartford is often a task, but if done right, it can be an easy task. There are 13 lots on campus, lettered from A to N (no I). All of these, with the exception of Lot K, which is a faculty/staff/visitor lot, are open to students. There are also several parking spaces in front of the main dining center, The Commons, which are available for anyone to park in between 7 a.m. and midnight. Public Safety is lenient about parking in those spaces, unless your car is there after 12 a.m. Cars are subject to being towed, but you will oftentimes get a warning or ticket before your car is actually towed.
As long as you can find a spot, parking is relatively fine, but it’s sometimes difficult to locate an empty space because of the large number of cars present on campus. However, the majority of students still manage to find parking in at least one of the many lots here. If you want to bring a car to campus, remember to get your permit—it is required and allows you to park on campus.
