At U of I, there are a number of attractive guys and girls as well as a good number that are not so attractive. But all in all, guys and girls have good relationships with each other, and they take part in all activities together, from intramural sports to student organizations.
It seems like everyone on campus has either a girlfriend or boyfriend because everywhere you go, you'll see at least one couple holding hands. Generally, students are quite reserved in the relationship department. Both guys and girls are shy and do not walk up to people. It's not common to find students walking up to other students and just asking them out.
