Do you write an essay when applying and if so, how important is the essay?
There are essays involved when applying, at least with the business school. I do believe that essays are college wide though. I didn't put too much weight into the essays although you should always put forth good effort.
Yes, the essay is not extremely important don't stress too much about it just give it your best shot
i copied and pasted mine from the common app because it kind of fit the topic, and on finding it too long i cut out one of the middle paragraphs; it still kind of flowed, so i kept it. just write about something excellent and you'll be fine
VERY IMPORTANT!! make sure you stand out. If your grades or ACT score is not so far, make sure your essay is stellar. good luck!
VERY IMPORTANT! The essays are a chance for the deans and etc to get a feel of what kind of student you are, especially when it comes to your personal statement.
yes you write an essay. I heard it is only important for borderline applicants
