Schedule a Group Info Session or Interview
Call 1-800-533-IOWA weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday. This gives you the chance to set up a personalized visit, which could include a walking tour, a meeting with an admissions counselor, lunch at the residence halls, and sitting in on classes.
Campus Tours
If you would rather not schedule your own personal tour, you can participate in the University of Iowa’s set tours, called Black & Gold Days. Black & Gold Days are when large groups of potential students come to the UI to meet and get information on the University. They include a tour of campus and the opportunity to meet a panel of current UI students.
Overnight Visits
The UI does not offer any overnight visits until orientation, which is an overnight program. The best way to stay overnight is to call a friend who attends and ask to stay at their place for a night or two.
