Not Good
The parking on campus is horrible. I opted for apartments off-campus, but within walking distance, so that saved me a lot of money. I would suggest not bringing a car as a freshman and wait until you get an apartment later on.

Pretty Decent
It's definitely cold in the winter, but all the other seasons are great! Lots of places to study outside when it's nice out and free busses run, so you don't have to walk when it's cold.

We're Number 4 for a Reason
Students don't care what day of the week it is, if they want to drink they will. Drinking is a pretty big thing here at Iowa. It's strange for student to not go out and party of the weekends.
