Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

The majority of students at the University of Kansas only have positive things to say about the college. Students have the opportunity to get a quality education at a fairly cheap price, which is something that not a lot of schools can boast. The community around Lawrence offers all of the important features of a great college town. There is entertainment, nightlife, and fine dining seemingly around every corner. You’ll have no problem finding everything you’ll need for four years of good living. Aside from some minor complaints, it’s safe to say that many students would be in favor of spending four more years at KU.

The combination of receiving a quality education and experiencing the freedom and exhiliration of college life makes students feel happy, and more importantly, at home at KU. The University also has a long-standing tradition that dates back to the 1860s, which makes you feel like you’re a part of something bigger than just your own educational advancement. Lawrence is a tight-knit community, and you’ll experience many Midwestern personalities on a daily basis, which can have its good and bad sides. Outside of Kansas, most people do not realize that KU is a great univeristy in a great college town. You will leave here a better person than when you came in—and you’ll have so many people to thank for it.

Diversity!

One of the reasons I picked KU was because it was diverse. There are many different types of races, religions, interests, and majors. Every person you meet is different in some way.
