Most Popular Sports
KU has long been known as a basketball school, and people all around the state and country look to KU for its consistently good basketball team. KU is definitely becoming more of a football school, too. KU has recently won consecutive bowl games.
Most Overlooked Teams
Baseball, women's basketball, and women's swimming and diving teams are always exciting to watch, even though they don't draw the biggest crowds.
School Spirit
School spirit is huge here. Students are very proud of the school, and you'll see Jayhawk apparel all over campus. The Jayhawk tradition is strong, and if you run into KU grads at any point in your life, you'll definitely have an instant bond to build off.
Getting Tickets
Many students buy the All-Sports Combination Package, which includes tickets for football and basketball tickets. But the package doesn't guarantee you a spot in the crowd-basketball tickets must be picked up at a certain time before they're sold out, otherwise it's too late.
