It’s hard to get bored with the variety of restaurants in Lawrence. Many places, such as Free State Brewing Company, pride themselves on using many fresh, locally grown ingredients. The most popular restaurants are Lawrence originals, such as Ingredient, Zen Zero, and El Mezcal. Bigger chain restaurants are also a staple for many college students, including Chili’s, Applebee’s, and Buffalo Wild Wings. Jimmy John’s is a must-have for students leaving the bars because it is one of the only places open after the bars close at 2 a.m.

Most students eat on a college budget, and there is definitely affordable eating in Lawrence. For students looking for something fancier, Kansas City is less than an hour away and offers many classy restaurants and bars at the Country Club Plaza. Lawrence has all the necessities a college student could ask for, but Kansas City can spice up your dining experience.  There’s something here for everyone—health food, fast food, vegetarian, barbecue, locally owned places, and chain restaurants.

Cashbar actually selling the best burger in Lawrence, kansas. The location of the restaurant is pretty convenience to student which can take No. 11 bus and straight reach the street of the restaurant located. The price for the burger is consider reasonable which is about 5 dollars for a big burger.

Lawrence Has a Variety.

Lawrence has a great variety of places to eat. Most of the best restaurants are on Mass st. You can find anything from greek to indian food.

Student Life

There are plenty of ways to spend time off campus in Lawrence. That's one of the benefits for going to KU. Massachusetts street is very popular with shopping and quaint restaurants. If needed, Target is 2 miles down the road on Iowa street. On Mass St. then you can get noodles & co, chipotle, buffalo wild wings and many delicious restaurants. There are many delivery services to the dorm which definitely is nice. Most of them run until 3 AM!
