Just as in high school, there will be people at Kentucky who are interested in drugs and not in school. They will, however, probably be in college for the better part of a decade. Drugs are available depending on the sort of people you socialize with. For the most part, there are so many activities that don’t involve drugs, you may never notice them.

There is no peer pressure involved with the drug scene on campus, but you may want to keep a close eye on your drink at parties, as people have been known to wake up the next morning not knowing where they are. Use good judgment and watch who you hang out with.

Alcohol Is the 'Drug" of Choice

To my knowledge drug use in terms of pills, meth and that sort of thing is extremely low. There are some students that use adderal recreationally and some that smoke marijuana. Drinking is the popular activity though.

Tobacco Free and Dry Campus

Even though the University of Kentucky is a tobacco free campus, many people still smoke around campus. Also there is still plenty of drinking on campus even though we claim to be a dry campus.
