EXCELLENT SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES, WITH MERIT/NEED

If you have the grades or the financial need, UK is very good about helping out with expenses. The quality of education at UK is very high (comparable to many "ivy league" schools), and the tuition is relatively low, so they are very good about providing financial assitance in order to attract high-achieving and out-of-state scholars! The best part about it is that, for most of the fellowships, grants, and scholarships, you are automatically considered upon applying for the undergraduate or graduate programs; no additional forms necessary.

I have been extremely fortunate to recieve almost full tuition scholarships for all of my education. For my undergraduate, I was the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship (full tuition), and as a graduate student (MBA), UK is paying for 85% of my tuition.

Limited Funding by School

While I did receive a scholarship to bring my out-of-state tuition down to in-state tuition (legacy scholarship because my parents went here), there is limited funding on top of that. Especially for out-of-staters. they do not make it easy for us to pay for school!
