Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Most places on campus can be reached in a short walk.
The city bus system offers free fares to students, but nobody has every actually seen any Kentucky students on a bus that runs anywhere but campus. Most people seem to enjoy the walk, unless the weather is bad and the buses crowd up.

Cabs in Lexington aren’t too expensive and are the best way to get where you want to go safely without having to walk. Always keep the name of a good cab company handy when going out just in case your designated driver decides to be irresponsible.

Transportation

The do have shuttles that pic you up from certain places and take you to places on their route. The also have Cats Cruiser which is used at night to get around safely instead of walking around campus by yourself at night.

Good but Not Great

there is a free bus to the parking lot which is very useful but at the same time it only runs on weekdays so weekends are a little harder to travel on

Such a Big Campus....Best to Walk

It is really best to walk to and from your classes. The dorms are on south campus and the classrooms are on north. Buses are inefficient to get you to class on time. If you go to this University you better like to walk
