Not as Impressed

I have not met as many people on campus as I thought I would. Although everyone is nice, no one really goes out of their way to make new friends. There are several groups of people that all know each other because of a sport, roommate, or sorority/ fraternity and they seem to stay within those groups of people and not branch out. Everyone dresses classy, never seen a trashy or scandalously dressed female. The males usually dress in shorts and a black shirt and girls in skinny jeans and tank top. Most are more expensive brands, and a lot of people wear school affiliated clothes from the bookstore on campus to represent for our school.

Great Instructors Make It Wonderful

I enjoy the Criminology program very much. I feel that it suits me and my needs and the things I am learning will be of great use in the future. the curriculum is structured and tough, but not overly heavy or unmanagable. The instructors know what they teach backwards and forwards and are prepared to answer any question you throw their way. They are great people to create a relationship with because you may be able to call on them for a reference or encounter them in your career field later along the way.

Perfect Major

I feel like my major fits me very well and all the courses are interesting and relivant to my field and prepare me for things I will encounter on the job. I would do it all over again if I could, and perhaps go to ULV straight out of high school instead of going to community college first.
