I do not discriminate agains anyone because of race, economic background, beliefs, or sexual orientation. I have friends in a variety of all of these topics. My family is also made up of people in almost all of the related topics. My family and friends are very open to everyone of any background.

I do not live by the school. I live at home in the county next to the school's. I do know there are many housing apartments near the campus and have heard that they are relatively expensive. They look nice from the outside, but I have never been in any.

I am not entirely sure how the sports are. I do not attend the events personally, but I have seen emails telling students when games are.

I do not live on campus, but the people I have talked to like them. The campus is not large and only takes about 15 minutes to walk from one end to the other.

I did not apply for financial aid. I have not heard anyone talk about the process in a good or bad way.

The atmosphere of the city is nice. It is not too busy and the people are nice. I feel safe at night and during the day. Incidents do happen just like anywhere else, however they do not happen often. The school does a good job at keep their students safe. There are many activities to take part in. The school has many sports to participate in, but I do not know how easy it is to get on a team. The students on campus are very friendly and trustworthy. There is a mall with a variety of stores 5 minutes from the campus.

I do not eat on campus, so I do not know about the dining options, variety, or meal plans. However, when I was doing my orientation I was allowed to eat at one of the dining halls. I did not enjoy the food and there was not a big variety of foods at the time. I have not eaten on campus since then.

Getting into the program is not hard. It only requires classes to take. Two of them are research classes to help learn about field work. The lower level students with not many credits often times have a hard time getting into classes that are in the major, but they get easier the more credits someone has. I am a transfer student and I found it easy to get into the school because of my GPA. I recommend having a high SAT score and GPA when applying straight from high school.

I have not had an internship yet. I do want to get one, I just have not had a good time to get one yet with the class loads I am taking. I do know of many opportunities to get one. The school sends out many emails with new internships that are available. These emails are always very helpful.

The buildings are restored from the original buildings. The are historic and kept well up to date. They are building a new academic building. The classrooms have modern technology that is easy to use. The campus is kept beautiful all year round. I do not eat or live on campus so I do not know how well those are. The gym is very nice with a variety of things to do. There are many places to study on campus.

There are many off-campus dining options in downtown and in the main city. The food quality is good and the restaurants are nice. There is a wide variety or chains but also non-chain restaurants.

There is an off campus bus that is free with the student card and will take students across town to various shopping locations.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:25:23Z
Good variety of dinning options of campus and very accessible.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:24:30Z
The food is usually good. The variety of options are really good and the vegetarian and healthy options are very very excellent.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:23:26Z
The school has a wide variation and diversity in backgrounds.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:22:35Z
I did not use scholarships.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:22:05Z
I had some difficulty in the beginning. I was not happy at all and completely regretted choosing my school. I still have some problems from time to time. The school is not completely awful but it has its moments.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:20:32Z
Commuter students pay $200 for a parking pass, which in my eyes is a reasonable price. The parking enforcement is astounding and very attentive.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:18:49Z
The facilities of the campus are excellent. The library is by far my favorite study spot. With 4 levels and and complete silence level with study nooks, the library is such an accessible place to study.

Health & Safety:
My campus has the blue light system where emergencies buttons are placed in various places on campus. If you just feel unsafe walking across campus, you can cal the security and they will walk you back to where you need to be. I have not yet experienced the Health center yet.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:12:02Z
The staff and faculty create a warm environment on campus and the town around is very welcoming to the students as well. Its a small historic town so not much happens, but when something does, its huge.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:10:18Z
I do not live on campus so I have not experienced the night life.
College Freshman 2013-11-02T19:09:09Z
I have used the computers in the lab once on my campus during a science lab. The internet speed and computer speed was excellent. I would recommend bringing a laptop just in case a student has a homework assignment and a class is in the lab.

Health & Safety:
I have only been to the Medical center a few times, but when I did they were very helpful!
I also like when we do blood drives, flu shots, and etc. The school tries to do what they can to help people with heath problems, even those who aren't on campus.
Safety is iffy. We do have Blue light for emergency but I have heard so many stories about how the police either never show up or show up too late. The only time that I feel unsafe is when its completely dark outside and I am walking around alone, I always make it a point to be on the phone with someone. None of which is probably a good thing but, what can you do?
The school does offer self defense lessons for free, my only problem is that you have to make sure you can go to each lesson and they only have them for women, not men. That's just sexist in my opinion, not every man or woman can handle themselves against an attack.
College Junior 2013-10-23T17:34:17Z
We have quite a few scholarships for qualifying students, some general and others based on majors.
The only problem is that they are not very publicized and you really have to meet within someone to find out all the information.
But I think after you have done all that work, the scholarship is usually worth it.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
