Students Are Diverse

UMBC is a rather quiet campus, with a lot of commuters. The only time there are parties (not campus organized) are Thursdays, and I don't know many who attend these parties and actually enjoy them. Students are mostly distant or studious. There are many people of different ethnicities, but they don't mingle much. There are also a LOT of smokers.

Bottom line: intelligence is a priority, but some girls really care about their appearance. Guys dress nicely etc, but I don't think anyone goes out of their way to look amazing every day.
