Some of the best things about UMCP include the availability, quality, and variety of food on campus, all of which make living on campus a real treat. In addition to the Stamp Student Union Food Court, home to the restaurant Adele’s, campus also has two popular dining halls. The Diner on North Campus—a fun and extremely comfortable place to eat and even study—offers many possibilities, but students sometimes can go a couple of months eating the same thing twice there. The South Campus Dining Hall is on the opposite side of campus and offers a good amount of options, as well, including made-to-order meals.

In addition to the overabundance of options and the staff’s willingness to help students, both dining halls continue to offer the very popular “Late Night” dining hours until midnight Sunday through Thursday. Students may purchase fast food snacks, sandwiches, ice cream, and plenty of beverages, all of which are generally also offered during normal business hours. Eating healthy on campus is easy; the challenge, however, is not having dessert at every single meal.
