Advice on Finding a Job/Internship Once you decide to attend UMCP, make the Career Center one of your most important resources on campus. During your first year, you should establish relationships with the people who work there—all of them, if possible. As you’ll learn in college and beyond, sharing your life with others opens up a wealth of knowledge (and enables you to meet someone who knows someone who needs someone like you to work for them). The dynamic people and resources available will help aid your search in gaining employment during your first year and beyond.
