Cheapest Place to Get a Drink
Bars usually have happy hours, most popular on Fridays. Cornerstone provides the cheapest food and drinks. For nightlife, Cornerstone and Bentley's are the same price for drinks.
Organization Parties
Given that there are nearly 600 organizations on campus, you can imagine the potential for events at UMCP and in the College Park area. An array of various student groups throw events throughout the year. Fraternities have their rush parties at the beginning of the semester and sometimes themed parties during the semester.
Did You Know?
- The liquor board does come out occasionally to check on bars. They issue citations to students who attempt to use fakes.
- Cops patrol Route 1 and park outside the bars. Have a great night out, but do not be belligerent or else you could be arrested.
