Major Events
- Alumni also tailgate for football and basketball games, and there are a lot of class reunions each year. Additionally, former Terps have been known to form alumni intramural leagues in various cities across the company to keep Terp pride alive.
- The Arts and Humanities College is great at promoting relations between alumni and current students; they host alumni dinners once a semester where students can introduce themselves and network.
- The most popular alumni events include tailgate parties and Homecoming. Tailgate parties in September and October celebrate the football games; Homecoming Weekend falls in October and has many events. Class reunions also tend to take place in the fall.

- TERP Magazine: UMCP's magazine comes out quarterly and replaces UMCP's former College Park magazine and the Alumni Association's Maryland Alumni magazine. TERP magazine's first issue was sent to 190,000 alumni back in October 2003.
