This is an old standby for live music shows.
The Pub
The Pub is a restaurant by day, but has a dance floor and gets pretty packed on the weekends. You don't have to be 21 to get in. Just make sure to dress accordingly when going to The Pub, and leave your overalls at home.
Amherst Brewing Company
This brew pub has jazz on Mondays and live entertainment. There plenty of specialty beers on tap here—check out the Pumpkin Ale in the fall.
Hangar Pub & Grill
The Hangar is known for its wings, but it also has a good special on Guinness pints.

There are plenty of things to do, like check out UPC Movie Night at the Student Union, go bowling, go to a sporting event, catch a movie at Cinemark at Hampshire Mall, or attend at house, frat, or dorm party.
