I have a learned a great deal and would recommend it to anyone. Good Balance of Fun and Learning

Although the University of Miami tends to have a reputation for being a "party school," it has, in recent years, really improved its academics and on-campus student life. This year's incoming freshman class is the smartest class they've ever had, and our national ranking has increased dramatically in recent years. Being a student living on campus, I am aware of all the wonderful things that are going on around campus. There is always something to do, and there are always clubs to join. The school has been putting a lot of effort lately into making the school a more vibrant learning environment, and are promoting school spirit. There are a variety of classes and the courses are interesting and geared towards specific career goals. Professors are almost always available and very approachable and helpful.

All About the U

I've felt pretty at home at UM. Maybe it's because I've lived in Miami for half my life? I love the city, and I love the University. The people are fun, I enjoy my classes, the campus is beautiful, and there's always something to do. My involvement has been pretty superficial because I live far from campus, but if I had to do it all over again, I would still choose UM because it's a quality school.
