Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Call (305) 284-4323 to confirm the availability of an information session or come to the Office of Undergraduate Admission on any weekday at 12:30 p.m. Admissions officers hold information sessions at 12:30 p.m. every Monday-Friday at the Office of Undergraduate Admission on campus. This office is located in the Bowman Foster Ashe building. Check with the office at the number above to confirm that a session will be held on the day of your visit. Reservations are not required.

Campus Tours

Campus tours leave during the school year every weekday at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. from the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Saturday tours start at 10:30 a.m., and information sessions are available by appointment. Weekday tours during the summer leave at 11 a.m. All tours last approximately one hour and are led by current UM students.

Overnight Visits

While the school does not offer any overnight programs, it would be a great experience to spend a night in the dorms with a current UM student. Check with any friends you may have at UM to see if they’ll let you stay for a night, or as a last resort, contact your high school’s guidance office about past students who have gone to UM. Be careful when you come though. Every night of the week isn’t like Saturday, even in party-happy Miami. Likewise, a Monday night might be more boring than a Thursday.
