Say Goodbye to Your Car

The saying "if you want to bring your car to Ann Arbor, you better bring a parking spot with it" is 100% true. I only live 45 mins. south of U of M in Ohio and I wanted to take my car so that I could take trips home whenever I felt like it...But I soon discovered that there would be nowhere for my car, unless I was willing to pay good money for it.

On campus however, there is no need for a car. Walking is a perfect way of transportation and it's enjoyable because the campus is beautiful.

Cold, Icy Winters...

I'm from Phoenix, Arizona, so of course I am use to warm sunny weather. It took time for me to adjust to the cold winters but it wasn't so bad. If you are coming to Michigan from a warm place like Arizona or Cali, be sure to bring some warm clothes! Overall, the school is awesome and I am enjoying my experience.
