The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities provides admirable academic opportunities, an environment that facilitates those opportunities, and a surrounding in which students are able to construct their own unique opportunities and experiences. Get out to the theater once in a while, walk around one of the many lakes, get involved in a student organization, bike along the river, visit an art exhibit, participate in a school function, shop for a friend, take an extra class just because it sounds interesting, go to a concert, create your own projects, and experience all that you can.
College really is a uniquely rewarding experience.
Being centered in a large metro area adds to this experience by exposing students to a wide range of people, ideas, and opportunities. By committing yourself to University life, your academic aptitude will grow, you will build strong interpersonal skills, and you will learn about the meaning of dedication and responsibility. In the midst of these two beautiful cities, in the classroom and out, you will build strong personal morals, refine your ideals, and structure your beliefs. It may be difficult-at times, it may be downright frustrating-but when you leave the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, you will better understand not only the world around you, but you will also know who you are. In short, you will be an adult with many fond memories and the rest of a bright future to look forward to.
