Yes, the "Tad Pad" is usually filled. When Ole Miss was on their winning streak, students were lined up for hours before they opened the doors.Tshirts were given away to the students entering the gym as well. It is free to students with their IDs.
Thank you that was a big help in my decision process
Ole Miss Athletics has a lot of Facebook pages you can"like" and it will update on the athletic or academic events going on around campus. They also have numerous twitters to inform students, parents and fans in general. I am a Freshman there now and I love Ole Miss!! I attended all of the home football games and try to attend the basketball and baseball games when my schedule will allow. It is so much fun and great school spirit!!

Ole Miss is all about football and its traditions. Some changes have come over the past few years, though. For example, the former head coach felt that students waving Confederate flags were hindering his recruiting abilities, so the athletic department found a way to keep them out of the stadium without actually banning the flag itself. What most students don’t realize is that the flag wasn’t banned, only the stick that’s attached to it. Another icon that was removed from the stadium was our mascot, Col. Reb. The athletic director said that the image of an old Southern gentleman was also a hindrance to recruiting. It was put to a vote by the student body, and they voted in favor of Col. Reb. Nevertheless, he was banned from the stadium, though he still roams the Grove on game days.
There’s a canopy of trees covering a 10-acre grassy area on campus called the Grove, where students, alumni, and fans set up tents to tailgate on game days. Some families have been “Groving” in the same spot for more than 30 years. The tables in the tents are piled high with food, beverages, and an occasional flower arrangement, and some of the tents actually have chandeliers. Don’t worry that you won't have a tent. Lots of students join organizations that set up tents or find friends with family tents. People in the South, especially Mississippi, are hospitable and want to have all the friends they can.
